By examining a post run dataflash log, and noting anywhere excessive battery voltage sag first occurs, you can take the battery voltage and current at that point, multiply to obtain the power, and set the BATT_WATT_MAX to below that value. 80% to 70% of the value noted at the sag point would be a good value to start with.

You can use MOT_BAT_WATT_TC to smooth the application of the BATT_WATT_MAX limit.
